Simply Perfect Preparation
We've been wallowing in rich colors and textures all winter. Now's the time to lighten up.
In a dining area, heavily weathered looking chairs with a mesh back and grey linen seat create an airy feeling. A wood-topped table with a unique iron base creates a simple silhouette.
Atop the table, wood slice chargers bring the outside indoors. Ceramic plates and bowls feature tree-like textures and similar-but-not-identical neutral colors. Together with the napkin, the four patterns combine line and texture for a mix-and-match casual yet interesting appearance.
A fern centerpiece in a bark case marks the transition from winter to spring. An arrangement of succulents in a corrugated metal container brings much-needed shades of green to the table, literally. Since we can't plant until Mother's Day - but we've already got spring fever - real or artificial greens, indoors and out, are a necessity.
