Transition to Spring with Julie

Yaass Queen… Vintage-inspired graphic T-shirts are my must-have layering piece. Spring weather allows me to ditch my bulky winter coats with my cardigans (AKA my partygans) and the best part is if I get too warm, I tie them around my waist and still capture the same laid-back look. Wearing Wellies is a solid way for me to stay dry while still looking cool. Bonus – they’re a breeze to clean.
My vegan leather jacket gives me the edge that I crave and it looks totally cool thrown over all of my tops. The jersey hood gives me a layered look minus all of the fabric. I get so stoked when I add sleeveless T’s to my wardrobe… I search for the right amount of embellishments… not too much or too little sparkle and beadwork. Wedge booties always help me look taller and thinner, and look so freaking cute with skinny jeans.
Let’s be real… I love wearing slip dresses over jeans. The look allows me to feel the right amount of feminine without going overboard. I own a handful of military-inspired jackets. I wear them cropped, fitted, oversized embellished and distressed. This jacket is my new fave because it features all of the things that I require — a zipper or a button option, a hood and giant pockets.
