Don’t think. Feel.

A lot of times it’s tempting to overthink a setting and in doing so, do too much. On this mantle, we kept it very clean, but manage to still achieve little surprise touches with our neutral palette.

The darker stained wood mantle divides brick and barnlike textures. We made a conscious effort not to overcrowd, placing the wooden orb elements and a sprout of green. Add a few classic bound books and you have multiple textures you can feel, without the feeling of too much.

Then stand back and celebrate the details.
